Wyndham Edgar Evans (born 19 March 1951) is a Welshfootball commentator and former player and manager.
Born inLlanelli, Evans played as aright back. After playing as an amateur withStoke City, Evans turned professional withSwansea City in February 1971, making 389 appearances inthe Football League for them over two spells.[2] While at Swansea, Evans competed in all four divisions of the Football League.[3]
Evans had spells as player-manager of bothLlanelli andPembroke Borough,[2] before returning to manage Llanelli.[4][5]
Evans later became a commentator for Swansea City's TV service.[6]
His nephew isStuart Roberts, who also played for Swansea.[4]
