Wrestling at the1962 British Empire and Commonwealth Games was the seventh appearance ofWrestling at the Commonwealth Games. The events were held inPerth, Australia, and featured contests in eightweight classes.[1]
The wrestling events were held in theRoyal King's Park Tennis Club, outdoor, under floodlights,[2][3] after the original plans to use the Drill Hall venue were rejected.[4]
Pakistan dominated the wrestling medal table by virtue of winning seven of the eight gold medals on offer.[5]
