Wrestling Dontaku 2022 was aprofessional wrestling event promoted byNew Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW). It was held on May 1, 2022, inFukuoka, at theFukuoka PayPay Dome,[1] marking the first time that Wrestling Dontaku was held at the venue since 2000.

Storylines

Wrestling Dontaku featured eightprofessional wrestling matches that involved different wrestlers from pre-existing scripted feuds andstorylines. Wrestlers portrayvillains,heroes, orless distinguishable characters in the scripted events that build tension and culminate in a wrestling match or series of matches.[2]
