Wreck Cove, Nova Scotia

Wreck Cove is a small community in the Canadian province ofNova Scotia, located inVictoria County onCape Breton Island.[1][2] The early settlers who received land grants in Wreck Cove included Alexander McKenzie in 1839, John Morrison in 1868, and Norman McLeod in 1871.[1]

Wreck Cove had a population of 79 people in 1956.[1]

Nova Scotia Power operates a hydroelectric power plant in Wreck Cove.[3]
