TheWomen's Wrestling Hall of Fame (WWHOF) is ahall of fame which honors women who have performed in bothwomen's professional wrestling andwomen's amateur wrestling as well as other forms ofgrappling.
The Hall of Fame was founded in 2022 byAngel Orsini, Christopher Annino,Gary Wolfe andSue Green.[1] It started as an offshoot of adocumentary Orsani and director Annino have been making aboutwomen's professional wrestling titledCircle of Champions.[2]
2023's inaugural class were honored during a ceremony at2300 Arena inPhiladelphia,Pennsylvania on December 17, 2022.[3]Jazz andMadusa received their inductions in person, andGangrel acceptedLuna Vachon's posthumous award on her behalf.[4] 86-year oldBeverly Shade received her induction remotely, just months before her death.[5] Co-founder Christopher Annino has expressed a desire to seeDonna Christanello,Sue Green andToni Rose inducted on a broadcast ofNWA Powerrr because of their history with theNational Wrestling Alliance.[6]
