Woking is ahamlet in northwesternAlberta, Canada withinSaddle Hills County.[2] It is named for the town ofWoking inSurrey, England.[3]

It is located in thePeace River Country north of the Town ofSexsmith and south of the Village ofRycroft and the Town ofSpirit River.

The hamlet is located inCensus Division No. 19 and in the federal riding ofPeace River.

In the2021 Census of Population conducted byStatistics Canada, Woking had a population of 62 living in 31 of its 36 total private dwellings, a change of-39.2% from its 2016 population of 102. With a land area of 0.55 km2 (0.21 sq mi), it had a population density of112.7/km2 (292.0/sq mi) in 2021.[1]

As a designated place in the2016 Census of Population conducted by Statistics Canada, Woking had a population of 102 living in 43 of its 55 total private dwellings, a change of-3.8% from its 2011 population of 106. With a land area of 0.55 km2 (0.21 sq mi), it had a population density of185.5/km2 (480.3/sq mi) in 2016.[17]
