Łobodziński started playing football withZawisza Bydgoszcz.[1] In 1999, he joinedStomil Olsztyn where he made a debut in theEkstraklasa. Subsequently, Łobodziński moved toWisła Płock where he played until 2003. Then he played forZagłębie Lubin and helped the team win Ekstraklasa championship in2006–07 season. In 2008 Łobodziński moved toWisła Kraków where he played until 2011, winning the Ekstraklasa title three times. In 2012, he joined another Ekstraklasa outfit,ŁKS Łódź.
He was part of thePoland U16 team that placed second at the1999 UEFA Euro Under-16, as well as theunder-18s that won the2001 UEFA European Under-18 Championship in Finland.
On 6 December 2006, he made his debut for thesenior side in a 5–2 victory overUnited Arab Emirates in afriendly match. Łobodziński was selected for theEuro 2008, appearing in all three group stage matches in an eventual group stage exit.
On 11 January 2019, half-a-year after playing a major role in Miedź's first-ever promotion to Ekstraklasa,[2] Łobodziński left the first team to continue the twilight of his playing career withMiedź Legnica II, where he would also serve as an assistant coach.[3]
He took on his first managerial role on 6 April 2021, taking charge of Miedź's reserve side and leading the team to eight wins in 14III liga matches, before being appointed manager of Miedź's senior squad on 16 June.[4]
With Łobodziński leading the team, they enjoyed a successfulcampaign, earning promotion back to top-tier and finishing the season 15 points ahead of second-placedWidzew Łódź.[5] Miedź's return to Ekstraklasa saw them struggling in the opening rounds, earning just five points in eleven matches, which resulted in Łobodziński's sacking on 11 October 2022.[6]
On 21 March 2023, he was appointed head coach of III liga clubWieczysta Kraków, signing a deal until the end ofthe season.[7] After finishing theirgroup in third and failing to move up toII liga, Łobodziński's contract was not extended.[8]
Two days after his exit from Wieczysta was confirmed, Łobodziński was announced as the new manager of second-tier sideArka Gdynia on 16 June 2024. He signed a one-year contract, which would be extended automatically in case of Arka's promotion to Ekstraklasa.[9] After a slow start to the2023–24 campaign, the Pomeranian outfit improved across the season, trading the top spot in the table with local rivalsLechia Gdańsk throughout most of it. On 10 April 2024, Łobodziński penned a new deal, tying him with the club until the end of June 2026.[10] Ultimately, Arka failed to earn promotion to the Ekstraklasa, dropping out of the automatic promotion positions following defeats in the last two rounds of the regular season before losing the play-off final againstMotor Lublin 1–2, despite leading until the 87th minute.[11]
Following a poor start to thefollowing campaign, Arka and Łobodziński agreed to part ways on 26 August 2024.[12]
On 10 March 2025, Łobodziński returned as head coach of I liga clubMiedź Legnica, replacingIreneusz Mamrot.[13] After leading Miedź to a promotion play-off final, his contract was extended for another season in June 2025.[14] On 4 August 2025, after losing the first three games of the2025–26 season, Łobodziński left the club.[15]
On 8 September 2025, Łobodziński was appointed manager ofII liga clubZagłębie Sosnowiec, signing a one-year contract with an option for another year.[16]
