Wo Hop is a Chinese restaurant inManhattan’s Chinatown that was named anAmerican Classic in 2022 by theJames Beard Foundation Award.[3] It is the second-oldest restaurant inManhattan’s Chinatown.[4] The restaurant is located at 17 Mott Street, downstairs entrance.
In March 2021, Manager David Huang said he believed they lost about 70% of their business compared to pre-pandemic levels.[5]
In June 2025, Wo Hop expanded onto street level with a new dining room. The new space is a collaboration with David Leung, the third-generation owner of Wo Hop, and T.K. Justin Ng, an architect.[6]
