The53rd Assembly district ofWisconsin is one of 99 districts in theWisconsin State Assembly.[1] Located in eastern Wisconsin, the district comprises pars of northeastWinnebago County and southernOutagamie County. It includes the city ofNeenah, the portion of the city ofMenasha in Winnebago County, and the portion of the village ofFox Crossing east of the Fox River, along with part of southernAppleton. The district contains theUniversity of Wisconsin–Oshkosh, Fox Cities Campus and theKimberly Point Lighthouse.[2] The district is represented byRepublicanDean Kaufert, since January 2025; Kaufert previously represented the 55th district from 1991 to 2015.[3]

The 53rd Assembly district is located withinWisconsin's 18th Senate district, along with the52nd and54th Assembly districts.[4]
