Winter Street inBoston, Massachusetts, is located betweenTremont Street andWashington Street, near theCommon. It is currently apedestrian zone.^[1] Prior to 1708, it was calledBlott's Lane and thenBannister's Lane..^[2]^[3] It was also known at times as "Winer Street".^[4]
