William Jonathon Dennis (born 10 July 2000) is an English professionalfootballer who plays as agoalkeeper forEFL League One clubLeyton Orient on loan fromPremier League clubBournemouth.
Dennis started his career in the academy ofLuton Town before moving to join theWatford academy, where he played from under-9s up to under-16s.[3] After being released by Watford, Dennis had trials withMilton Keynes Dons,Coventry City andStevenage.[3]
Dennis joinedBournemouth at the age of 15 in 2016, turning professional 18 months later and joining the first-team at the start of the 2019–20 season.[4] He also had spells in non-league withGuernsey andWeymouth during the 2017–18 season.[5]
In March 2020 he signed a new three-and-a-half-year contract with the club.[6][7] Later that month he was praised by managerEddie Howe.[8]
On 11 December 2021, Dennis signed forWealdstone on an emergency loan.[9] He made his debut on the same day, in a 1–0 defeat toHalifax[10] On 18 December 2021, Dennis was recalled from his loan spell by parent club Bournemouth.[11]
In January 2023, Dennis joinedNational League South clubSlough Town on loan for the remainder of the season.[12]
In June 2023 he signed on loan forKilmarnock for the season.[13][14]
In February 2026 he moved on loan toLeyton Orient.[15]
