Wilfred Bernard Gillow (8 July 1892 – 11 March 1944) was an English professionalfootball player and manager. Gillow also played cricket at county level.
Gillow played club football forBlackpool,Preston North End,Fleetwood andGrimsby Town.[7]
Gillow began his coaching career as player-manager at Grimsby Town, and was in charge from 1924 to 1932.[8] He also managedMiddlesbrough from March 1934 until his death in March 1944, which came after a "serious" operation.[7]
Gillow played club cricket forCleethorpes, and representedLincolnshire in 1926.[9]
