For WikiProjects that participate in rating articles, thebanners for talk pages usually say something like:

There isa discussion at Talk:Fortran on a long-term issue over the addition ofModern Fortran Explained to the further reading section, even without a link to the online seller.MrOllie considers it spam; a whole host of temporary accounts from an offwiki thread have defended the prestige of the book within the Fortran community and this has, perhaps unsurprisingly,made AN/I. I have said we need to focus this discussion on itssubstance—is this book one of the standard references on Fortran that should be under further reading?—rather than how the editors have behaved.

Cloud computing articles are currently rarely referenced within WikiProject Software. I actively contribute to cloud-related pages and propose that cloud computing be considered within scope due to the substantial overlap between modern software engineering and cloud computing. Cloud computing has been an established field for roughly two decades, and a large proportion of contemporary software is deployed on some form of cloud environment, including private, public, platform-based, or virtualized systems. While cloud computing also encompasses infrastructure and service delivery, a significant portion of its research, implementation, and operational practice is software-centric and aligns with the project’s existing focus.Azarboon (talk)09:01, 23 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]
