Career stats in infobox

[edit]

I noticed a user, @BrickChism, adding statistics to the infoboxes for collegiate quarterbacks (such asGunner Stockton andJoey Aguilar), akin to the career statistics in NFL infoboxes. Is this something we're doing now?Bulldawg (talk)21:09, 8 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Churning career stats weekly is page history clutter. There's not much notability to career stats at any level, save for a small set of "magic" numbers. —Bagumba (talk)21:15, 8 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I thought it'd be nice to add them for collegiate quarterbacks like it is for NFL quarterbacks. However, if you don't feel that they are necessary, then I can remove them.BrickChism (talk)22:06, 8 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Game summaries

[edit]

I had a question on college football game summaries. For a home game, should I do the section as "vs [team]" or just "Team" to reflect the CFB schedule template. Also, for the stats for players, should I do for example "Player | 15/32, 169 yards, 1 TD" or "Player | 15/32, 169 yards, TD" removing the number one from before the TD?TheGreatestBigC (talk)15:20, 22 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

The examples atWikipedia:WikiProject College football/Style guide § Team seasons (content) don't have "at" or "vs". Adding those seems like a recent phenomena to litter headers with schedule minutiae. And if we followedMOS:HEADINGS, it'd have to be "Vs." and "At". —Bagumba (talk)16:35, 22 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
This would be the example I listed first.
