AWikiWolf is aWikiFauna that travels in packs, because they stand a bigger chance of catching any vandal they may encounter. This makes them a formidable force if challenged. They behave similarly toWikiDogs, attacking vandals on sight. However, wolves carry out their attacks more systematically, usuallycalling their pack and enacting this well-documented four-step process:

1. Intimidate the vandal, usually bybarking at the vandal to attempt to make the vandal stop.
2. Keep checking on the vandal, scanning the vandal's contributions for any vandalism the vandal made later.
3. If the vandal vandalizes again,chase the vandal.
4. Revert any vandalism performed by the vandal until the vandal iscaught. During this phase, they may be mistaken forEdit Ninjas.

Due to their wild nature, they may be less adept at refraining frombiting the newbies, unlike the tamerWikiDogs. They may need to temporarilybe put on a leash if they bite too many people, lest they become aWikiVampire. They are still wild and hard to control, like the youngercubs. They cannot be adopted, but they can still betold to calm down. Another form they may take on is theWikiBadger.

3. Canis wikilupus puppis, theWikiPuppy.
4. Canis wikilupus puppetus, a type of WikiWolf that willcall the pack in a debate or vote, instead of against vandals. These are extremely dangerous tothe habitat of many WikiFauna.
5. Canis wikilupus importunus, theWikiHound. Avoid them, as they most likely want to harass you. If it is impossible to avoid the WikiHound, try to ignore it, to avoidencouraging it to continue in its behavior. If this is also impossible, feel free to contactanimal control so they canput them on a leash.
