Women in Red is hosting a virtual editathonfrom April 1 to 30, 2017, onBook artists in collaboration with UC Irvine's Claire Trevor School of the Arts, School of Humanities, and Langson Library, who are holding anin-person event on April 7 in Irvine, California.
The virtual edit-a-thon allows enthusiasts from around the globe to participate in the work. The main goals of the event are:
In collaboration with the UCI, School of Humanities, the objective is to create or improve articles on women book artists including illustrators, cartoonists and graphic novel artists. In addition to biographies, we welcome articles on their work, their achievements, their writings and their organizations.
