Welcome toWikiProject Swimming! ThisWikiProject is dedicated to improving Wikipedia's coverage of topics related to competitiveswimming and other aquatic sports.
This wikiproject is currently inactive. However I (It is a wonderful world) will keep track of the progress on keeping the event articles up to date here, so people can easily see what needs doing. If anyone wants to collaborate with me to work on these articles and/or rejuvenate this project, feel free to ping me! It's always fun working with others.

The assessment department focuses on assessing the quality of Wikipedia's swimming articles. While much of the work is done in conjunction with theWP:1.0 program, the article ratings are also used within the project itself to aid in recognizing excellent contributions and identifying topics in need of further work.
The ratings are done in a distributed fashion through parameters in the{{WP Swimming}} project banner; this causes the articles to be placed in a set of categories that serves as the basis for anautomatically generated worklist.
