WikiProject Orienteering is a collaboration to improve articles related toorienteering. This includes both orienteering from a sport and recreation point of view.
Articles are monitored from different aspects to gain information where work is needed:

The highest possible classificationFA class was assigned on January 2006 to articleAmateur radio direction finding. The article was downgraded on April 2010 toC class due to lack of references.
Based on the classification and importance, a list of articles that needs to beimproved most of all exist. The goal is to improve the articles to match good Wikipedia standards. The list is based on the WikiProject classifications. Please, help expand these articles if you have something to contribute.
Orienteering articles hasassessment guidelines that helps with assessingimportance for articles. The guidelines doesn't give indications in all cases but gives help in finding what important inWikipedia from orienteering point of view.
