This project seeks to create, improve, and maintain content relating to the broad topic ofOceania, including its people, history, geography, and cultures, in a neutral, cooperative manner.

Continent: Although the islands of Oceania do not form part of a truecontinent, Oceania is sometimes associated with the continent of Australia for the purposes of dividing the whole world into continental groupings. As such, it is the smallest "continent" in area and the second smallest, after Antarctica, in population.

John Carter (talk·contribs) - will try to work on getting together a list of articles in other reference sources on the topic as a basis for our own content, particular personal interests probably include the history and religious history of the region, including the largely "historical" religions
SatuSuro (talk·contribs) - my enthusiasm is for project tags on talk pages - so that the articles and categories designated as being oceania actually are linked to the project and assessable
MargaretRDonald (talk·contribs) I am looking to improve the coverage of plants inMalesia (although at the same time looking to improve plant coverage in Australia)
