Sub-project of WikiProject Novels
Welcome to theShort Stories task force of the Novels WikiProject!
This task force seeks to create, improve, maintain, and provide a standard of consistency for articles aboutshort stories andshort story collections, as well as create a forum in which interested editors can work together to improve articles. Slightly long pieces often referred to asnovelettes are in scope.

Any article related to this task force should be marked with "short-story-task-force=yes" to the{{WikiProject Novels}} project banner at the top of its talk page (see theproject banner instructions for more details on the exact syntax). This will automatically place it intoCategory:Short story task force articles.
The resulting code is usually:

- Recruit more members!
- Collaborate andjoin the discussions. If you know things, teach! (If you don't know things, Ask.)

- Start looking forfeatured articles andlists while getting familiar with and helping withassessment of prose fiction articles. Then add an "Articles" section to this project page.
