Scope

This WikiProject seeks to improve thecolor article, the articles about colors themselves (starting withred,yellow,blue,green,black andwhite, and working our way down), and articles aboutcolor vision,color theory,color management, people involved in the history of the understanding of color, and other color-related subjects (for instance,pigments).

Goals

Organizecolors into "major color" categories with fully fleshed out (no pun intended) articles
Discover and improve all color-related articles (Category:Color,Web colors,X11 color names)
Unify the presentation of all color articles and, where possible, all color-related articles
Assist other projects with color advice as needed
KeepWikipedia:WikiProject Color/Unreferenced BLPs empty

Notability and verifiability.
Use of color disclaimer.
Color values only if in a standard.
Strict limits on swatches.
Pre-vetting of acceptable color sources.
Excluding proprietary color spaces.
