Talk:Nicole Junkermann

Should this article discuss Junkermann's relationship with Jeffrey Epstein? (example version[1])Hemiauchenia (talk) 16:32, 16 February 2026 (UTC)

Talk:Stephen Wolfram

I am proposing a brief mention in the lead regarding the DOJ EFTA releases to summarize a new "Relationship with Jeffrey Epstein" section. I have used neutral language ("past associations" and "public scrutiny") to comply withWP:NPOV and linked it directly to the factual section below.

Talk:Killing of Alex Pretti

Should this article mention Pretti's video recorded confrontation with DHS agents that occured eleven days before his shooting in the "Background" section?
  1. Include information on this event in the "Background" section of this article. (In another section such as the "Investigation" section, this information may be linked back to, but does not necessarily need to be described in detail twice)
  2. Don't include information on this event in the "Background" section of this article (However, it may be mentioned in a different section)
  3. (new option)Don't include, but refer: Don't include detailed information on this event in the background section, but instead refer readers in the section to the info by placing a sentence such as "After the shooting, investigators found a video of a confrontation between Pretti and federal agents, seeInvestigations section" in the "Background" section

There is no option here to not mention this video at any point in the article, because I did not see anyone suggest that in the previous sections, but that can still be suggested.

Talk:Moroccanoil

Should an article about a multinational business include references to "occupied territories", "cultural appropriation", genocide, apartheid and political boycotts when the references are based only on the possible location of one of several manufacturing plants and the name of the shell company that owns the operating company that runs the business? There is no suggestion that any executives or employees are engaged in these things.

This began with a request from a COI editor to remove non-WP:RS sources and asking for an addition to the "cultural appropriation" discussion. After three months of discussion, I posted that I would remove the content rather than changing the sources. There was no response.Talk:Moroccanoil#Request edit, October 2025

Eight hours after I made the change, it was reverted by an editor who had not participated in the earlier discussion.

Talk:North Africa

Seeking consensus view on including the proposed content in the ethnic groups section. I think North Africa as aheterogeneous region should feature a range of groups,Berbers,Haratins andNubians. This is especially pertinent considering the fact that the region has in some geographical definitions included Mauritania and the Sudan.

All groups exist across countries historically recognised as North African and surrounding regions recognised byUnited Nations[1] and some other definitions which encompass the northernSahalian regions. The African Union recognises Mauritania, whilst not recognising Sudan. According to this source, there is "no singular definition"[2] for North African classifications. Nonetheless, all of the groups exist across countries historically recognised as North Africa(Aswan Governante,Eastern desert regions of Egypt along with the southwesternMaghreb).

Talk:Misfits Boxing

There is an ongoing dispute among editors regarding whether theFloyd Mayweather Jr. vs Deji event should be included in the "List of events" table for this article.

Some editors argued the event should beexcluded because Misfits Boxing was not a primary promoter of the event, which was promoted by Global Titans and Mayweather Promotions, and that the use of the "MF & DAZN: X Series Presents" branding alone may not satisfy WP:DEFINING for inclusion.

Other editors contend the event should beincluded because the event was marketed in association with the Misfits Boxing brand, including use of the "MF & DAZN: X Series Presents" branding in certain promotional material.

Sources cited in the discussion include coverage fromDAZN'sYouTube playlist,Dexerto, Misfits Boxing's website, as well as event listings and databases identifying the promoters involved.

Talk:List of highest-grossing concert tours

First of all, the title of this article is clear, "the highest-grossing tour", notlist of Billboard year-end number one tours orlist of Pollstar year-end number one tours (or alaList of Billboard Year-End number-one singles and albums). When we say a certain tour is the highest-grossing of 2025, it definitely should earn thehighest gross revenuebetween January 1, 2025 and December 31, 2025. The problem with these year-end charts is the cut-off period, which is sometimes very very off.Billboard 2025 year-end chart was published in December, with tracking periodfrom October 1, 2024 to September 30, 2025. It ommit the entireQ4–2025 (October, November, and December).

Shakira'sLas Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour grossed$421.6 million untilDecember 2025 according toBillboard Boxscore. Meanwhile,Beyonce grossed$407.6 million on the year-end charts, which exclude a good amount of months in 2025. $421.6 million is stillmore than $407.6 million right? Or do I become really stupid at numbers now?

So should we list Shakira'sLas Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour as the highest-grossing tour of 2025?Bluesatellite (talk) 16:00, 3 February 2026 (UTC)

Talk:Opinion polling for the 2026 Israeli legislative election

How should we classify the non-aligned parties (Joint List, B&W, Reservists) in the polling table?
Category 1
Classification

1. Move Gantz to the Unaligned Grouping:

  • Pro: Gantz only opposes both Ra'am & Otzma[2] and calls for government of national unity, a position nearly identical to Hendel. Lieberman excluded Gantz from a letter for the opposition leaders[3].
  • Con: Gantz was clearly part of the opposition until recently but there is no clear event like for NH which would justify a switch.

2. Gantz and Hendel as part of the opposition:

  • Pro: Used by JPost[4] and Times of Israel for Gantz[5], used by Maariv for Hendel[6]. TheApril 2019 article avoided an unaligned category added notes for each disputed member.
  • Con: Not shared by all like Zman Israel. Gantz and Hendel are open for cooperating with Bibi.

3. An Arab Grouping separate from the Unaligned Grouping (Hendel+Gantz):

  • Pro: Used by Zman Israel[7][8] and might be the most "accurate".
  • Con: Same with 1 and could fall under OR. Having two large blocs and one unaligned grouping is probably the most natural solution.

4. Status quo:

  • Pro: Least controversial.
  • Con: The Joint List and Hendel are directly opposed to each other so it might be misleading for the reader. Gantz takes a similar position to Hendel.

5. On @User:Rxtreme's request: only government, no opposition & arab camps

Category 2
Terminology

For all or Gantz/Hendel:

  • A. Unaligned bloc (status quo)
  • B. Unaligned

For Arab parties

  • C. Arab bloc
  • D. Joint List
  • E. Arab parties

Talk:Catherine, Princess of Wales

I'd like to raise a quick style point for consensus: should this article include a comma after fronted year phrases such as "In 2011, ..."?

Another editor has noted that comma placement isn't regulated by ENGVAR, so it's up to local consensus whether to include or omit the comma. With that in mind, I wanted to ask what the preferred approach should be here.Several royal Featured Articles — includingQueen Victoria,George VI, andQueen Elizabeth the Queen Mother — consistently include the comma after "In [year]," and it seems to improve readability by preventing the opening of the sentence from running together.By contrast, the articles on Catherine, William, and their children tend to omit the comma, which makes them outliers compared with most other royal biographies. For the sake of consistency across these closely related pages, it would be helpful to decide whether these articles should follow the broader FA precedent. For my part, I support including the comma after "In [year],". It keeps this article consistent with the wider set of royal biographies, most of which already use that style, and it does improve readability. I'm not sure why the Catherine, William, and Wales children's pages use a different approach when the majority of comparable royal articles include the comma, so aligning the style here seems the clearer and more consistent option. I'm happy to follow whatever consensus forms — I just wanted to raise the point so we can settle on one consistent approach.ItsShandog (talk) 14:46, 25 January 2026 (UTC)

Talk:2025–2026 Iranian protests

ShouldReza Pahlavi be removed from the "Lead figures" section in the page's infobox?

Context:Aprior RfC established consensus that he should not be described as "the leader" of the protests and found no consensus on alternatives. Editors now disagree on whether listing him under "Lead figures" in the infobox is consistent with WP:WEIGHT, WP:DUE, WP:SYNTH, and WP:INFOBOX.Tasasiki (talk) 18:34, 15 February 2026 (UTC)

Talk:Women Against State Pension Inequality

Is the inclusion of a standalone “Criticism” section in this article consistent with WP:UNDUE?

The article concerns a pressure group. A separate “Criticism” section has been added, sourced to several newspaper articles critical of the group. There are currently no positive or neutral sources presented, and the section summarises criticism without clear evidence that such criticism constitutes a major or defining aspect of the group’s overall coverage.Velvetfreak (talk) 16:58, 2 February 2026 (UTC)

Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Olympics

Starting an RfC on the placement ofTemplate:2026 Winter Olympics andTemplate:2024 Summer Olympics (and all similar templates) across main Olympic Games articles such as2026 Winter Olympics and2024 Summer Olympics.

Until earlier this month, these templates have been located directly below the infobox, usually within the introduction. As their recent removal, appears to impact navigability to other related articles such as2024 Summer Olympics Parade of Nations. Open to suggestions on if they should be re-added as before, relocated elsewhere within the main article, or completely removed. -Epluribusunumyall (talk) 21:39, 27 January 2026 (UTC)
