| This page in a nutshell: Just because aVocaloid song exists, that doesn't guarantee that there will be a Wikipedia article for it. |
Vocaloid is a singingvoice synthesizer software product that was created over 2 decades ago. Just because some Vocaloid songs[a] like "Mesmerizer", "Rabbit Hole", and "Dune" have Wikipedia articles, that doesn’t mean that there can be articles created for other popular Vocaloid songs such as "Static", "Monitoring", and "Tetoris".[b] These types of content count asfancruft.
Any information that is related toVocaloid and other singing synthesizer softwares are required to be accompanied by areliable source. Also, for that matter, any pages that are related toVocaloid and/or other singing synthesizer softwares are required to meet thegeneral notability guideline. Although many Vocaloid synthesizer software applications and some Vocaloid songs have their own articles because they meet these guidelines, many of these specific songs do not. Some people believe that just because some Vocaloid songs have their own articles, they can write whatever they wantlike it’s Fandom, but there are policies and rules that decide what should and should not be on Wikipedia. Unfortunately, these rules state that (as of late December 2025) many Vocaloid songs don't need any more articles. However, articles on Vocaloid songs tend to get more coverage on theJapanese andChinese Wikipedias, but they have their own notability guidelines.
