Fun fact: This building is the former studio of Francis D. Nemecek, aBohemian photographer in the early 20th century. Noted architect and fellow Bohemian Frank Randak designed the building in 1907 with its iconic skylight, ideal for portrait taking before the advent offlashbulbs. Asculpture of the building can be seen at the Czechoslovak Heritage Museum in Oak Brook, Illinois.
