I am nominating this for featured list removal because the prose in this 'list' completely outnumbers the list by orders of magnitude, this is probably Featured Article or at least Good Article worthy, but definitely not a FL due to failing the list part of the criteria. 🇪🇭🇵🇸🇸🇩Easternsahara 🇪🇭🇵🇸🇸🇩04:34, 1 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Other concerns that I have with this list is that the entire first paragraph of theMoons of Jupiter#List section is unreferenced. Various parts of theMoons of Jupiter#Exploration section are also unreferenced. In addition, the "Visual observations" and "Photographic and spacecraft observations" are both quite short and break up the flow of the text. According to the MOS, these should probably be merged for better flow.Moons of Jupiter#Naming the third paragraph is quite short, and should be merged and it also uncited. The images are also not accesible as there aren't altexts for them. The second half of theMoons of Jupiter#Characteristics section is also uncited. There isn't a table header for screen reader accessibility either. Also note that this probably has the possibility for expansion, and a lot of the sources which this article depends heavily on could be updated. Keep in mind if all of these things are resolved, my point about the format still stands.🇪🇭🇵🇸🇸🇩Easternsahara 🇪🇭🇵🇸🇸🇩03:55, 4 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
For similar reasons I would also like to nominate the following lists:Moons of Saturn,Moons of Uranus,Moons of Neptune 🇪🇭🇵🇸🇸🇩Easternsahara 🇪🇭🇵🇸🇸🇩11:38, 1 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
That we allow multi-nominations for media season lists while we work through them is a special, agreed upon case; this nomination cannot cover multiple lists. --PresN11:44, 1 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, I understand. 🇪🇭🇵🇸🇸🇩Easternsahara 🇪🇭🇵🇸🇸🇩03:55, 4 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Note: the 97-row table is scrollable; if you turn that off so that it can fill out vertically (and horizontally), the prose to table ratio is about 60%/40%, or 55/45 if you make the font full-sized. Also note that you have to actually notify the people/projects that you list above, not just put their names here; I did not see any evidence that you did. --PresN11:42, 1 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I think the list part of the article is rather overshadowed by its other things, which it would be incomplete without. Perhaps a list sub-article could be broken out but I do not think that this currently is a format "that lends itself to list format". Also thank you for pointing out that I have not notified people, but I did notifyRandomCritic andKwamikagami. Although I did not initially notify the WikiProject, I havedone so now. 🇪🇭🇵🇸🇸🇩Easternsahara 🇪🇭🇵🇸🇸🇩03:55, 4 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
  • Remove. This is a great article, but not a good list. I agree that it may be worth considering nomination as a featured article. The same applies toMoons of Saturn,Moons of Uranus andMoons of Neptune, even if we may need to discuss those separately. Must we though? These lists are so similar, I kind of support Easternsahara's wish to discuss them in bulk, even if that's not technically possible. I don't want to be forced to have the same discussion four times.Renerpho (talk)19:24, 12 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
