TheFeatured Article Help Desk is a place for those who would like to see a particular article promoted tofeatured article status, but don't know how to go about it, or would like some assistance.

Anybody can join, whether they are veterans of Wikipedia ornewbies to Wikipedia. However, we invite anyone to edit articles that are in need of assistance.

When arequest for assistance is submitted, we will review the article and make suggestions for its improvement based on our experience with the criteria for featured articles. We can do this for articles which you plan on listing onfeatured article candidates, or for articles which already have a listing.

In addition to telling you what we think needs doing, we can help you do some of it; improving formatting, sorting out problems with images, copyediting, rewording entire text if needed - we'll help to do what has to be done to get your article on the main page.

TheFeatured Article Help Desk team are a group ofWikipedians who are dedicated to improving the quality of all articles on the encyclopedia. To this end, we like to see as many articles as possible promoted tofeatured article status, and we want to help editors with this.
