TheWight Shipyard is ashipbuilding company andshipyard based inEast Cowes on theIsle of Wight in the UK, with their facilities occupying and including the historicSaunders-Roe flying boat hangar andBritish Hovercraft Corporation hangar. The company was originally known asShemara Refit LLP, and was formed to undertake the refit of the classic yachtMYShemara. They now specialise in the construction and refit of high speed craft and aluminium ships.[1]
