Whitmer is acensus-designated place (CDP) inRandolph County,West Virginia, United States. It is 7.5 miles (12.1 km) south-southwest ofHarman and is situated on theDry Fork Cheat River. Whitmer had apost office, which closed on May 21, 2011.[4] As of the2020 census, its population was 94 (down from 106 at the2010 census).[5][6]
