River in the U.S. state of Massachusetts

TheWhitman River is an 8.4-mile-long (13.5 km) river inMassachusetts that flows throughAshburnham,Westminster andFitchburg. It arises fromLake Wampanoag in Ashburnham, travels through a couple of ponds in Westminster, and ultimately joinsPhillips Brook in Fitchburg to form theNorth Nashua River, a principal tributary of theNashua River.[1]
