During the "Dark Reign" storyline,Quasimodo researched White Wolf forNorman Osborn. He recommends to Osborn to have a brief alliance with White Wolf when it comes to dealing with Wakanda's defenses. In the longer term, White Wolf would view Osborn as an enemy.[16]
Hunter became displeased that T'Challa abdicated the Wakandan throne to protectHell's Kitchen, Manhattan (T'Challa's goal was to test himself after recent losses andMatt Murdock needed time to heal after recent events). In retaliation, he killed some people to take the Black Panther mantle from T'Challa. When Black Panther defeated White Wolf, he was told that Wakanda has no place for murderers.[17]

At the time when Wakanda transitioned into a parliamentary democracy, White Wolf started sowing discord into Wakanda by taking advantage of the "Wakanda Forever" movement and infecting immigrants to Wakanda with a bioweapon he obtained. White Wolf was defeated byCaptain America andNomad (Ian Rogers) and remanded to the Mohanndan prison.[19]
Revolutionary later sprung White Wolf from prison and they kidnapped Ian Rogers as part of a plot to unleash the forces of Dimension Z.[20] Both of them were defeated by bothCaptain Americas alongside the Dimension Z monsters.[21]
