It was filmed atRoger Corman's studios near Galway, Ireland.[1]
The film was written by Laura Ambler, who ran an advertising agency. She showed her ads toFrances Doel who worked forRoger Corman and she bought a script off Ambler calledThe Theory of Chaos. Doel then hired her to write a family orientated script about a leprechaun set in Ireland. This wasWhite Pony, a sequel toA Very Unlucky Leprechaun.[2]
