Thewhite-naped jay (Cyanocorax cyanopogon) is a species ofbird in the familyCorvidae. It isendemic toBrazil - where it is known as theGralha Cancã or theCancão. Its naturalhabitats aresubtropical or tropical dry forest andsubtropical or tropical moist lowland forest.
They are capable of interbreeding withplush-crested jays, and hybrids between the species have been observed.[2] The species are visually similar and often are mistaken for each other.[2]
They sometimes serve as a food source for humans. They are also sometimes kept as pets.[3]
