On April 21, 2024, Gunna previewed the song on social media.[1] Prior to its release and the disclosure of the title, it was called "Push Back" by listeners due to the constant use of the phrase in the chorus.[2] Turbo toldBillboard that the chorus was inspired by asix figurewire transfer that Gunna received to perform at a private party.[3]
The song finds Gunna boasting his wealth, accomplishments in life, and outdoing his competition.[2] He also shouts out toComplex.[4]
