West Vent is one of three smallshield volcanoes located in theTuya Volcanic Field of theNorthern Cordilleran Volcanic Province inBritish Columbia,Canada.[1] It isHolocene in age and stands in relief above the surrounding area north of theNazcha Creek, which comprises theWest Tuya lava field.
