TheWest Indian cricket team toured India andCeylon in December 1966 and January 1967 to play a three-matchTest series against theIndian national cricket team. West Indies won the Test series 2–0. India were captained byMansoor Ali Khan Pataudi and West Indies byGarfield Sobers.[1] In January, the West Indians played afirst-class rated international against theCeylon national cricket team at thePaikiasothy Saravanamuttu Stadium,Colombo. The match was drawn. Ceylon were captained byMichael Tissera.[2]
