Wendy Katerine Bonilla Candelo (born 8 July 2002) is a Colombian professionalfootballer player who plays as aforward forLiga MX Femenil clubUNAM and theColombia national team.
Born inValle del Cauca, Bonilla made her senior debut withCortuluá in 2018.[1] She joinedAmérica de Cali in 2019, winning theColombian Women's Football League in her debut season.[1] In 2021, she played forAlianza Lima in the PeruvianPrimera División Femenina, before returning to América.[1]
Bonilla won her second league championship with América in 2022, scoring 6 goals in 13 games.[2] She scored their opening goal in the2022 Copa Libertadores Femenina, where they finished in third place.[2]
In September 2024, Bonilla went on loan toSanta Fe.[3] She appeared in four games of their run to the2024 Copa Libertadores Femenina final.[2]
Bonilla joined Mexican clubUNAM (nicknamed "Pumas") in January 2025.[4]
Bonilla played for the Colombian youth national team at the2018 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup and the2022 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup.[2] She made hersenior debut on 12 November 2019, coming on as a late substitute forLinda Caicedo in a friendly againstArgentina.[2]
She was named an alternate to the national squad at the2024 Paris Olympics.[5]
