Wang Yeping (Chinese:王冶坪;pinyin:Wáng Yěpíng, born 12 February 1928)[1] is a Chinesepolitician who is the widow ofJiang Zemin, formerGeneral Secretary of the Chinese Communist Party (de factoleader) andPresident of the People's Republic of China, and is a native ofYangzhou,Jiangsu.[2]
Wang Yeping was born February 12, 1928, in Yangzhou and grew up inShanghai in theRepublic of China. Wang Yeping graduated fromShanghai Foreign Language Institute and majored in foreign languages. She has two sons,Jiang Mianheng born in 1951 and Jiang Miankang (江綿康) born in 1954.[3][4]
