Wang Liping (simplified Chinese:王丽萍;traditional Chinese:王麗萍;pinyin:Wáng Lìpíng; born July 8, 1976, inFengcheng, Liaoning) is aChineserace walker who became an Olympic champion by winning the 20 kilometre walk event in the2000 Summer Olympics.[1]
Four years later inAthens she finished eighth in the20 kilometre walk race.[1]
Her personal best time is 1:26:23 hours.[2]
Wang Liping also participated in the 2017 Liupanshui International Marathon held in Liupanshui, Guizhou Province, China.[citation needed]
