Walter Harold Covert (September 13, 1865 – May 13, 1949) was a corporate lawyer based inNova Scotia, Canada. He was an influential member of theConservative Party and served as the 16thLieutenant Governor of Nova Scotia[1] from 1931 to 1937.
As well as being head of a largeHalifax law firm, Covert served as president ofNova Scotia Light and Power.[1]
He was the uncle and father-in-law ofFrank Manning Covert.[2]
