Wallmapuwen[3] ("Fellow citizens of the Mapuche country" inEnglish[4]) is aMapuche political organization trying to establish itself as apolitical party in theChilean legal system. Its political ideology is generally based onleftism,democracy,Mapuche nationalism,self-determination andsecular government.

The political party was founded in 2006 and advocates forself-governance and autonomy for Mapuche people.[4] In 2016 it was officially recognized by theElectoral Service of Chile.[5]
