WWRZ
The official logo of radio station WWRZ "MAX 98.3" in Lakeland, FL. This logo uses the original slogan "Playin' It All!" slogan used from 2006 to 2021 and from January 6th, 2025 to now. The logo is a large turquoise oval with a lime-green offset stroke, covered by the word "MAX" in bloated block text. The characters "98.3FM" are superimposed halfway beneath the oval, and the slogan "Playin' it All!" is placed above the oval in italicized script text.

WWRZ (98.3MHz) is acommercialFMradio station inFort Meade, Florida, broadcasting to theLakeland-Winter Haven area ofCentral Florida. It broadcasts anadult hits varietyradio format and is owned byHall Communications.

Programming

Prior to January 2, 2006, the station was dubbed "98.3 The Rose" and had anAdult Contemporary format. The station uses the slogan "Playin' it All!" with aplaylist that includesnew wave,pop,rock, anddance hits. Songs from the 1970s through the 2010s are included. The station's schedule isautomated, as is typical of most adult hits stations.

The station's longtime morning show, the "Big Max Morning Show," was hosted by co-sidekicks Eric Michaels and Mike Lee. The show concluded on January 6, 2025.[2]

WWRZ rebranded to "Max at 98.3" at 11:00 AM, January 28, 2025, keeping its former slogan "Playin' it All" and adopting an adult hits variety format.
