WRVY-FM (100.5MHz) is aradio station licensed toHenry, Illinois, United States. The station airs acountry music format, and is currently owned by Fletcher Ford, through licensee Virden Broadcasting Corp.[2]
The station went on air in July 1990[3] and was owned by The 29th Broadcasting Company ofRidgway, Colorado. Local talent operated the station until it abruptly went off the air in October 1991[4] The station was then purchased byWCIC (anIllinois Bible Institute radio station) as atranslator station in June 1992[5] The station was then purchased by current ownerWZOE, a radio station in neighboringPrinceton, Illinois.
