WKDP-FM (99.5FM) is acountry music–formattedradio stationlicensed toCorbin,Kentucky,United States. The station is currently owned by the Eubanks family as part of aquadropoly withWKDP (1330AM),adult standards stationWCTT (680 AM), andTop 40/CHR stationWCTT-FM (107.3 FM).[3] All four stations share studios on Adams Road northwest of Corbin in southernLaurel County, while its transmitter is located offUS 25E nearGray.
The station signed on the air asWYGO-FM in 1967 on 99.3MHz, with aMOR format. The format was upgraded toadult contemporary in 1984. Three years later, WYGO-FM would receive a significant signal upgrade in a move to 99.5 FM. On March 6, 1989, the station changed itscall sign to the currentWKDP and dropped itsadult contemporary music format for its currentcountry music. format.[4][1]
