Vugrovec is avillage inCroatia. It is formally a settlement (naselje) ofZagreb, the capital of Croatia. For the1991 Croatian census, the village was divided intoVugrovec Gornji andVugrovec Donji.[3] For the2021 Croatian census, Vugrovec Donji,Kućanec, andVuger Selo have been merged into a newsettlement named Vugrovec, while Vugrovec Gornji remains as a separate settlement.
Vugrovec is located about 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) northeast of Zagreb city centre, and north ofSesvete. Vugrovec lent its name to theVuger stream, whose source lies nearby.[4]
According to the 2021 census, its population was 920.[2]
