Vrindaban Road railway station is on theAgra–Delhi chord. It is located inMathura district in the Indian state ofUttar Pradesh. Its code isVRBD. It servesVrindavan town. The station consists of four platforms. The platforms are not well sheltered. It lacks many facilities including water and sanitation.[1]Ashish Kumar is currently serving as the station manager

Krishna was born inMathura. He spent his childhood in Vrindavan. Therefore, both are major pilgrimage centres for Hindus.[2]

History

The station lies on Delhi–Mathura branch line of Delhi–Kanpur section ofNorth Central Railway.[3]
