VINnews, formerlyVos Iz Neias? ("What's the news?" inYiddish), founded in 2007, is an online news site that caters to theOrthodox Jewish andHasidic communities, primarily in theNew York metropolitan area.^[1]VINnews competes withYeshiva World News as the major news website for theHaredi Jewish world.^[2]

VINnews is owned by four anonymous Orthodox Jewish investors.^[2] There are advertisers and writers, but since all business is conducted through the internet and throughPayPal, the anonymity of the investors are maintained.^[3]

VINnews endorsedDonald Trump in the2020 U.S. Presidential election, describingJoe Biden as senile and a socialist, while approving of Trump's support ofschool vouchers and his position onIsrael.^[4]^[5]
