Visa requirements for Saudi citizens are administrative entry restrictions by the authorities of other states placed on citizens ofSaudi Arabia.

As of July 20 2025, Saudi citizens have visa-free or visa on arrival access to 91 countries and territories, ranking theSaudi passport 54th in the world, tied withBotswana passport according to theHenley Passport Index.[1]

Saudi citizens do not need a visa to enter otherGulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries and also have the right to work in those countries. Similarly, citizens of other GCC states do not need a visa to enter Saudi Arabia. GCC citizens can use a GCC national identity card (rather than a passport) to enter Saudi Arabia.

Visas on arrival for Saudi citizens were introduced byMalawi in October 2015, followed byAzerbaijan in February 2016,[20] followed byGabon in October 2017,[21] followed by Pakistan in March 2019.[22]

Electronic Visas for Saudi citizens were introduced byMyanmar that commenced on 1 September 2014,[23] followed byDjibouti on 18 February 2018,[24] followed byIndia on 17 June 2019,[25] followed by theUnited Kingdom in 1 June 2022,[26] followed by Armenia in 5 July 2022,[27] followed byJapan in 27 March 2023.[28]

Russia announced that it is working to establish visa-free travel agreement with Saudi Arabia.[29] In September 2024, it announced that Saudi citizens will gain visa-free entry to Russia by 2025.[30]

European Union is currently working on facilitating visa-free entry intoSchengen Area for Saudi citizens.[31][32]

Paraguay is working on opening an embassy inRiyadh and abolish visa requirements for Saudi citizens.[33]
