Visitors toNorth Macedonia must obtain avisa from one of theNorth Macedonia diplomatic missions unless they are citizens of one of the visa-exempt countries.
Visa policy of North Macedonia is similar to thevisa policy of the Schengen Area. It grants 90-day visa-free entry to all Schengen Annex II nationalities exceptDominica,Grenada,Kiribati,Marshall Islands,Micronesia,Palau,Samoa,Saint Lucia,Saint Vincent and the Grenadines,Solomon Islands,Timor-Leste,Tonga,Trinidad and Tobago,Tuvalu andVanuatu. It also grants visa-free access to the European Unioncandidate member country ofTurkey, whose citizens are still required visa for entry to the Schengen Area unlike theother candidates.
Foreign visitors must have a passport that are valid for at least 90 days from the date of arrival, and show an accommodation booking if they have no residence in the country.
Holders of ordinary passports of the following countries and territories may enter North Macedonia without a visa for the following period:[1][2]

In addition:

In addition to countries whose citizens are visa-exempt, holders of diplomatic or official passports of the following countries may enter North Macedonia without a visa:

Citizens of North Macedonia may enter without a visa to most countries whose citizens are allowed visa-free entry to North Macedonia, but they require a visa forAntigua and Barbuda (grants electronic entry visa),Australia,Brunei,Canada,Ireland,Mauritius (grants visa on arrival),Mexico,New Zealand,Paraguay,Saint Kitts and Nevis (grants e visa),South Korea,United Arab Emirates,United Kingdom,United States,Uruguay andVenezuela.
Се укинуваат визите за краткорочен престој (виза Ц) во Република Северна Македонија, за странски државјани носители на валидни патни исправи на трети земји кои поседуваат важечки британкса, американска и канадска виза, при што должината на нивниот престој во Република Северна Македонија може да биде најмногу до 15 дена, а важноста на важечката британска, американска и канадска виза треба да биде 5 дена подолго од од планираниот престој во Република Северна Македонија. Одлуката е од временски карактер, со важностод 1 јануари 2023 година до 31 декември 2023 година.
