Visitors toJamaica must obtain avisa from one of theJamaican diplomatic missions or in certain cases from one of theUnited Kingdom diplomatic missions unless they are citizens of one of the visa-exempt countries or citizens who may obtain a visa on arrival.

Substitute visa

Citizens ofHonduras that are holders of a valid visa issued by any member state ofSchengen Area,Canada, theUnited Kingdom or theUnited States may enter Jamaica without a visa for up to 30 days.

Citizens ofAlbania,Belarus,Bosnia and Herzegovina,Bulgaria,Croatia,Estonia,Kazakhstan,Latvia,Lithuania,Moldova,Montenegro,North Macedonia,Romania andSerbia that are holders of a valid visa issued by any member state ofSchengen Area,Canada, theUnited Kingdom or theUnited States and who have a proof that they are immunized againstmeasles,rubella andpolio may enter Jamaica without a visa for up to 30 days.

Non-ordinary passports

Holders of diplomatic, official, service or special passports ofCuba andUnited Arab Emirates may enter Jamaica without a visa.

Visa on arrival

Citizens of the following countries and territories may obtain a visa on arrival for 100USD:[11][1][2]

In addition, citizens ofTaiwan with an "Affadivit of Identity" traveling as tourists may obtain a visa on arrival.[12]

Transit without visa

[edit]

Generally, passengers can transit without a visa for a maximum of 72 hours. However, citizens ofCuba require a visa for all purposes including transit.[13]

Unconditional Landing Stamp

A visa is not required for holders of passports or other travel documents of any country endorsed with an "Unconditional Landing" stamp issued by Jamaican authorities.[2]
