Visitors toBelize require avisa unless they are citizens of one of the visa-exempt countries.
All visitors are required to have sufficient funds, 75 USD per day and documents required for their next destination.

As of 1 October 2025, the four nations of: Belize, Barbados, the Commonwealth of Dominica, and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines offer the right of indefinite stay for their aforementioned citizens.[1]
Holders of ordinary passports and refugee travel documents of the following countries and territories may enter Belize without a visa for an indefinite period (unless otherwise noted):[2][3][4]
1 - 30 days
2 - 90 days
3 - 180 days
4 - including all classes of British nationality.
Holders of diplomatic or official/service passports may enter Belize without a visa for the following period:[3]

A visa exemption agreement was signed withPakistan in September 2024 and it is yet to be ratified.[6]
In addition to a visa, citizens of the following countries require a clearance:[2][7]
Citizens of the following countries must pay a repatriation fee of (unless otherwise noted) 1200BZD (equivalent of 600 USD) upon arrival:[4]

Visa not required for visits not exceeding 30 days for those holding a valid multiple entry visa or Permanent Residence Card of US, Canada or holding a valid multiple entry Schengen visa.[3][8]
